How to read the table above
Every figure on this page comes from the site’s single cost dataset, with a source and a last-verified date. Ranges are deliberately wide: your disease status, the product chosen, and the hospital’s tier all move the number. A figure without a date is a figure you should not trust.
What is usually not included
Hospital quotations for international patients typically exclude:
- Management of severe complications. ICU care for high-grade cytokine release syndrome can add five figures.
- Bridging therapy beyond a standard window — needed when disease must be controlled while cells are manufactured.
- A second infusion or re-treatment, if the first does not produce a response.
- Companion costs beyond the basics — a caregiver’s time in China is usually four weeks or more.
Ask every hospital to state exclusions in writing. A quote that cannot list its exclusions is not a quote.
Paying across borders safely
Chinese hospitals generally require international wire transfers to a hospital corporate account. Two rules protect you:
- Pay only an account in the hospital’s legal name. Never an individual, never a third-party “agent account.”
- Verify the account through a second channel before sending — call the hospital’s published switchboard number and confirm the account details with the finance office.

Getting a real number
The only trustworthy quote is one written against your medical case by the hospital that would treat you.
